Working with people from all walks and stages of life in the health and volunteer sectors for over 15 years, has given Lauren a passion for understanding and advocating for those most vulnerable in the community. Inspired to pursue this interest further, Lauren returned to university and completed a Master of Counselling.
Lauren is enthusiastic about supporting people through challenging experiences and helping them to find productive and sustainable ways to navigate the issues they face. She recently joined FGD and is excited to be working with Kristal in the Child and Family Specialist Team.

Lauren likes hanging out with her family and friends, working on her fitness and wellbeing, and catching up over a coffee. She loves travelling and experiencing different cultures and food – even more so when someone else plans the trip. She enjoys getting stuck into a good book series and loves a night out at the theatre whenever she gets the chance.
